I · Local processing

Information handled on your device

To deliver responsive editing, live rendering, search, persistence, and crash recovery, Akileas processes files and folders you choose to open, text you paste, active session history, and application preferences directly within local memory and storage.

Preferences and bounded crash-recovery journals are stored locally on your machine. You can inspect, back up, or delete these files at any time via your operating system's file manager.

II · Data collection

What WSPlXA receives

The answer is nothing. Akileas does not transmit your document contents, file names, workspace structure, clipboard data, preferences, or usage analytics to WSPlXA. We do not sell personal data or share information with third-party advertising networks.

III · Network access

When the app connects to the network

If a Markdown document references a remote image with an http:// or https:// address, Akileas will request that asset from the host to render it inline. That third-party server may log standard HTTP request metadata, such as your IP address and User-Agent, under its own privacy policy.

When you click an external link within a document, your default web browser handles the destination. Third-party websites operate independently under their own privacy practices.

IV · Store distribution

Microsoft Store data

If you obtain Akileas through Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes purchase, installation, reliability diagnostics, and Store account information in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. WSPlXA does not receive your document content or local files through Microsoft Store.

V · Children

Children's privacy

Akileas is a general-purpose productivity and technical writing application. Because the application operates without cloud accounts or remote data collection, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

VI · Changes

Policy updates

Should future features necessitate changes to information handling, this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised. Material updates will be documented in official release notes.
